There is a massive online industry for live, web-cam porn. Guys love it, apparently. And girls love the money attached to the attention, without having to be near the gross adult men sending them Bitcoins or whatever the hell happens during the behind-the-scenes transactions.

Q:Potentially awkward question, but what do you do if you want to work, but it’s your ‘time of the month’? Do you just not work? Or are there ways to work around it?

A:nah, good question! i probably have the world’s shortest, lightest periods, so I just do shows that dont involve taking off my undies for a few days while wearing a tampon and probably have an off day here and there in between.

Q: Do you plan on always being a cam model or do you eventually hope to switch industries?

A:I’ve finished a degree in the time I’ve been on cam, and have been accepted into grad school. Camming has helped me pay the bills, so I don’t need to take out a loan. I realise I wont be in my twenties forever. I’ll need to work a “real” job. And I will 🙂 Wearing clothes! 😀

Q: Has anyone you know ever mentioned that they saw you in a show, and if so was it awkward?

A: luckily no! i suppose its bound to happen, but i’ll just ask then how hard they came and if i’ll be seeing them as one of my regulars XD

Q. How often would you need to put on a cam show per month in order to make roughly minimum wage @ 40hrs/week?

A: American minimum wage? Assuming I work with a figure of $10 an hour @ 40hrs/week, this would work out at roughly 4 shows for me.

Q: How does your job impact your relationships?

A: I’ve been with a dude who was incredibly supportive and understanding. I explained, “No one is touching me. I set my boundaries. I will never meet these people. I don’t know their names, where they live, or what they look like. I do only what I want, when I want, how I want to, at the touch of my own hand. I end anything if I feel weird”. And after that, it wasnt an issue.

Q: Does it ever feel awkward?

A: ooooohhhh yeah. yes. YES. some of my best paying tips have been for things that aren’t that perverted, they are just awkward as hell. Today I spanked my ass with a spatula. I’ve recited shakespeare while fingering myself. Yeah. it gets awkward, haha. I’d say it’s more of a funny awkward. I never do something I DONT want to do though. To me there is a difference between an awkward feeling and one that feels wrong. If something doesn’t feel right, then I don’t do it. End of story.

Q: Did you ever refuse to do something? if yes what was it?

A: All the time! I refuse to do all kinds of things, from small things to bigger things. Sometimes I dont want to say something. Sometimes I don’t want to sit a certain way. Money doesnt buy everything, and often its not enough to buy what someone wants. It’s what I feel comfortable doing. I’ll negotiate with the client, and I stop if I dont want to. I need to communicate a sense of trust to the viewers that I am enjoying myself too. I do that by, well, actually enjoying myself.

Q: Do your parents/friends know about your job?

A: several of my good friends know about my job. they are supportive and kind and understanding and have a sense of humour about it. My parents have always been quite liberal leaning, so if they found out, it really wouldn’t be a huge deal for me. I don’t talk openly about what I do to my family or a big portion of my friends, but I wouldn’t lie if they found out. I’m not ashamed of what I do.

Q: How does working in the sex industry affect your own sex life?

A: generally positively. I get to decide EXACTLY what I feel comfortable with. Literally. For example, I don’t like using big toys, so I use small ones. I do anal very seldom. I like spankings. 😛 I won’t do something that hurts or makes me sore, sorry. Not worth it. I respect my body. I think I have a healthy attitude towards sex. I do what I want, and what makes me fee good and comfortable. In my relationships, it is the same.
