Hammered Nebraska Fan Angrily Tries To Rush Field Following Controversial Call, Fails Miserably
If you’re planning on making your way onto the field of play at some point during the duration of an active game, you must have a game plan. We’re not talking about a Les Miles game plan in which you give it your all to run right over your opposition, because that’s not exactly possible with a wall of cops. We’re also not talking about the Mike Leach Air Raid playbook, as that gives security plenty of time to intercept your ass before ever touching the field. The ideal method would likely come out of the Georgia State or Navy playbook. You have to fake them out, or, at the very least, make them work to get you into custody.
Nebraska fans weren’t too thrilled about a controversial targeting call that resulted in the ejection of Nate Gerry from their bowl game against UCLA. One piss drunk fan was so upset, and hammered drunk, that he felt his anger and frustration would be better expressed on the actual field.
Giddy at the thought of wrestling someone to the ground while getting paid overtime, those officers jumped on the chance and didn’t let him escape once realizing his mistake. Instead, his incredibly horrible lack of preparation resulted in nothing more than a trip to the drunk tank and likely a ban from the stadium.
His team won, though, so it all worked out in the end..
