Bring us taxes, keep us from getting booze for a while thanks to progressives, and take political power away from those who deserve it rightfully by allowing women and minorities to vote.

True, you do read case after case. Pennoyer v. Neff (the traditional rule), International Shoe (the modern approach), hell I will even throw Shaffer in here. I could go on and on. All of these cases in Civil Procedure establish what personal jurisdiction is and how it is established by state statutes which must not breach due process. The United States Constitution has everything to do with this.
