One Half Of The Bryan Bros Wins First Tourney On Web.com Tour, Has Sights Set On PGA

Wesley Bryan, the Bryan Bro sans incredible flow and Team Callaway member, fired a final round 68 on Sunday to win the Chitimacha Louisiana Open, the first win of his rookie season on the Web.com Tour. Note: Wesley is the one in the green shirt in the above picture, looking at me like he wants to catch these hands.

Bryan’s birdie on the par-4 17th shot him to the top of the leaderboard at -14, and par on 18 was enough to hold off Julian Etulain at 13 under. Bryan earns $99,000 for the win, some nice supplemental income to the revenue earned by their very popular trick shot videos on YouTube.

The other half of the Bryan duo, George (I miss you and your hair, George), worked the bag for Wesley during the tournament, as the two typically trade off doing for each other when only one is playing.

This victory was a big step toward Wesley earning his PGA Tour card, a likely incredible accomplishment for someone only three tournaments deep in his young career on the Web.com Tour.

As you may recall, Ross Bolen and I filmed a video series in California with these two, as well as Jamie Sadlowski, last year. Callaway flew us out to basically embarrass us on camera, but at least we got the below videos out of the trip?

A big congrats to Wesley and George.

Saw you went back and fixed your error, but remember, in real life there are no second chances.
