A Colorado Cannabis Club Is Giving Out Free Weed For Doing Community Service

One outstanding trait about fraternities is that in addition to their contribution to campus activities (read: alcohol for the general female population), they also work towards making the community, in general, better. Whether it is community service or fundraising for philanthropy, making your college town better is fairly frat. This hard work deserves some reward and appreciation, which is why the owner of The Pothole Cannabis Club, Steve Pacheco, decided to reward the citizens of Colorado Springs for cleaning up their community. With free weed.

Pacheco rolled 300 joints and offered free lunch to those who gave their help in cleaning up the community. Wanting to prove the good cannabis clubs can do for the city, he inspired people to go green by ensuring them that every bag of trash they cleaned up would be rewarded with a joint.

I’m positive that if a philanthropy chair considered rewarding people in the same way, there would be no grumbling over community service. In fact, I’d assume that there would be more weekends full of community service.

The event was a success, with over 100 people working jointly to clean Colorado Springs. Pacheco and other cannabis clubs plan to have another event soon, so if you’re nearby and need hours, why not get some free weed? Mother Nature is grateful as hell.
