Stanford Head Coach David Shaw Basically Says People In SEC Region Are Too Dumb For Stanford

Screen Shot 2016-04-12 at 9.48.31 AM

Stanford is an academic powerhouse, and their student athletes are very much student athletes. Their signees must qualify academically, so it’s safe to say their overall intelligence level is superior to that of other schools, especially, according to Stanford Head Coach David shaw, to those schools in the SEC.

Paul Finebaum tweeted out a screenshot from an ESPN broadcast graphic quoting Shaw talking about holding satellite camps.

Now, Shaw was actually talking about holding satellite camps nationally, not just in SEC country (that one’s on you, ESPN), but this has to be a subtle insult at all the folks in Alabama, Arkansas, Mississippi, Louisiana, and Georgia. Sure, those states are full of athletes, but they aren’t full of Einsteins.

Oh the poor guy must be legit retarded. We have some of the smartest schools in the country. UF, Vandy, Alabama, Auburn, UGA, are all nationally ranked as top universities.

Aside from maybe Vandy students, virtually no one from those other schools would have a prayer of getting into Stanford

UF and Alabama absolutely can, what the fuck are you talking about? I know everyone wants to take every chance at shooting the SEC in the foot, but give credit where credit is due. Stanford is a great school, but it’s not untouchable.

Most of us at Vandy are here because we got denied from Stanford. It pretty much is untouchable–especially for UF and Alabama students.

Stanford has a lower acceptance rate than every single Ivy League school. It literally is the definition of untouchable.

Stock – you must have gone to Alabama. Because only someone who went to Alabama would be dumb enough to believe Alabama is a good school. Since you probably weren’t required to do research while in school, I’ll provide you with some to back up my claim:

According to US News 2016 College Rankings (which is a respected source):
      Stanford – 4
      Vandy – 15

      UF – 47
      UGA – 61

      Bama – 96
      Auburn – 102

And that’s only national universities. Enjoy Hell.

That’s true, but at least our conference is not full of PC liberal colleges.

Calling a team that’s been a fixture in the top 10 for about the past 7 years a joke is next level stupid

He hasn’t won enough for earning the right to talk shot about the conference that RUNS colllege ball.

Does your own team have any rings or are you just gonna brag about your rivals accomplishments?

My team won a championship in 2010 and played for another one in 2013, while being part of the toughest conference, let alone division, in college football. I don’t need to brag about my rivals, I can backup my pride for my school.

Do you take pride in your team’s 3-9, 8-5, 7-6 seasons? Or do you consider the barn a national power from having just three 10+ win seasons in the past 10 years? It’s a joke of a program.

It’s true! But the sec is strong! Soon members of the Stanford football team will attach themselves to the SEC underbelly for transportation.

It’s hard getting into Stanford as it is, and I’m only 20 minutes away from the damn school
