Animal Activists Try To Rush Stage at Bernie Sanders Event, Get Destroyed By Security

Several animal rights activists rushed the stage at a Bernie Sanders event in Oakland on Monday and were promptly gut-checked by his security.

A group of animal rights activists briefly interrupted a Bernie Sanders rally in Northern California when they jumped barricades and tried to rush the podium.

Sanders’ security stopped the protesters before they could reach the Democratic presidential hopeful, who was addressing supporters at Frank Ogawa Plaza at Oakland’s City Hall Monday.

As everyone knows, Bernie Sanders is a trained Russian circus bear that his handlers taught to recite the Socialist works of Lenin and Marx on stage. Bernie now tours the country performing this Communist rhetoric to the delight and amusement of college students across the country. While it is funny to see a bear growl his way through a dissertation on universal healthcare, you sometimes get the feeling that Bernie would much rather be eating berries by a peaceful mountain stream, or shitting in the woods.

These animal activists must have felt sorry for the poor bear, and thought that he belonged in the wild. Nobly, they rushed the stage to set Bernie free, but were shut down by the cruel bear trainers, who didn’t want to lose their investment.
