The U.S. Army Is Now Murking ISIS With Apache Helicopters

Our armed forces are constantly coming up with fun new ways to blast ISIS militants even further into the Stone Age than they already are, and now, the Apache helicopter is joining the fray. A flock of the legendary war birds destroyed their first target on Monday — an ISIS vehicle packed with explosives.

From Maxim:

The U.S. military has put one of its stalwart weapons into play against ISIS in northern Iraq and the results have been absolutely explosive. On Monday Apache gunships flying in formation attacked an armored ISIS vehicle outside the city of Qayyarah with hellfire missiles and scored a hit, reported Fox News. It was the first time the Army has employed the legendary chopper against ISIS militants.

No word on the number of insurgents killed in the assault.

The U.S. military started deploying the Apache to assist the Iraqi Army in reclaiming the city of Mosul from ISIS, which recently celebrated its two year anniversary of control over the region.

I couldn’t find any footage of the chopper’s successful return to the front lines, but to give you an idea of what it was like, Maxim included a badass video of a female Apache gunner blowing a group of Taliban forces to smithereens as they attempted to plant an I.E.D.

Get some.

Apaches and Warthogs are a ground pounder’s best friend. They bring the hate.

It’s unfortunate the Air Force heads are doing whatever they can to retire the A10, somehow they think the F35 can do the same job. Too bad their experiment will cost 10 times more per plane, and they want to order about 2500 of them.

Fucking goats in your free time, women wearing burkas, and living in mud huts in the desert sure sounds like purgatory to me.

F-18’s do way more justice to “American firepower” than Apache’s, actually.

Ah, nice to know we aren’t just killing, but bringing terror back to the terrorists.

God bless the troops and the U.S. Army on their 241st birthday today.

Wake me up when there are boots on the ground. Cheney kills them all by mid afternoon and still has time to catch a twilight 9.
