5 Reasons To Attend The University Of Alabama

The University of Alabama is a school that many are flocking to. I guess that’s what happens when you start winning national championships. Outside of their t-shirt fans, Alabama has some pretty damn good redeeming qualities. Here are five reasons why it isn’t a bad school to attend.

The Greek Life

Alabama has the best Greek life in America. Chancellor Witt actually wants kids to come to Alabama for their Greek life, so that should tell you a little something about the quality of life we are talking about. Twenty-nine IFC fraternities and eighteen Panhellenic sororities exist on campus so there are plenty of opportunities for you to make a good impression on someone.

Inside those IFC fraternities and Panhellenic sororities, you will find a vast alumni network that has pockets full of money and jobs waiting for you once you come out of school. Alabama Greek life is surprisingly diverse, too. One minute you’re talking to a Georgia peach and the next you’re trying to impress some girl from Texas with your inability to two-step.

The Football

Is there a better time to say you went to the University of Alabama? I hate their fans. Hate them. They chirp constantly on social media. But you know what? It’s because I’m jealous. I wish I could say that my football team is always going to be a top five team who is always going to be competing for nattys year in and year out. Four titles since 2009 is just absurd. Nick Saban is running a well-oiled Machine down in Tuscaloosa and it doesn’t look like it’s going to stop until he retires, which might be when he dies. Being able to say you witnessed a national championship in football is the ultimate trump card amongst your loser friends.

The Women

The girls down in Title Town are too hot and too white, according to someone who was mad at Alpha Phi’s recruitment video from a year ago. The caveat with Alabama girls, though, is that they are a bit top-heavy, and I’m not talking about their chests. Most of the talent lies within the top-tier sororities, so you’re not diving into a pool that is 100% sex appeal like you might find at Arizona, but there are still plenty of good looking girls roaming the streets. Plus, these girls give off the Southern charm you hear about.

Tradition

From the houndstooth to the words “Roll Tide” to the playing of “Dixieland Delight,” the University of Alabama is rich in tradition. The walk of champions is a cool gameday experience, and even better when your team is actually champions. They have a band named the “Million Dollar Band,” and being named million dollar anything is pretty cool. And lastly is the “rammer jammer” chant, where you get to remind everyone else you just beat the hell out of them.

Law School

Would you believe me if I told you that the University of Alabama is ranked higher than SMU, UNC, Ohio State, and Tulane for law school? In fact, Alabama is firmly planted as the 28th best school for future lawyers. 28th. Who knew?

Actually the biggest reason most people attend is the low out of state tuition costs. ALOT of kids from Texas go there. That’s why it’s a state school with over half its student body from out of state.

ASU is the same way. Not because of the out of state tuition but because no one from Arizona willing stays here for college.

i can vouch for that. A lot of the out of state kids that go to Bama (especially the ones that join greek life) come from either California or Texas
