When you sign for your license, you agree to submit to all roadside tests as a condition. Refusing them is grounds for arrest and a one year suspension in most states. Maybe better than a third DUI, but not enough to encourage high schoolers to try it.
“Sir im not refusing or denying your request, i would just like to consult my attorney before making any legal decisions.” You say that right and half the time theyll let you go, the other half you call any lawyer and theyll come take care of it.
