A Breakup Note For Steve Spurrier From A Heartbroken Gamecock

So that’s it I guess. You’re really leaving. I just had to give you this note before you’re gone for good.

When you found us, we were lost. Broken. And you picked us up with your southern charm and filthy recruiting skills and made us whole. Made us somebody.

I’ll never forget the good times. The three consecutive 11 win seasons from 2011-13. The #4 ranking in 2013. Thrashing Clemson five years in a row. I will cherish these memories always.

I don’t know what happened at the end there. I guess we just sort of… lost our way. I thought you’d at least stick around as an ambassador. But now you’re packing your visor and heading back to The Swamp to take the same position there.

Part of me really hurts right now. Our time together feels like it was nothing more than a career move for you. Was that all this was, Steve? A payday? A convenient fling? I don’t want to believe that. I can’t believe that. What we had felt so real. You weren’t just the head ball coach. You were our Head Ball Coach.

But you never truly got over Florida, did you? I get it. They were your first love. You won a Heisman there. And we could never give back to you the way they could. We couldn’t get that national championship ring you wanted. The ring you deserved. For that, I suppose there’s no one to blame but ourselves.

I just hope Florida makes you happy. I really do.

Goodbye, Steve. We will always love you.

Boosh, I saw your snap chat the other day, doing whippits? C’mon man, whippits are for 13 year old girls named Kayla who cut themselves.

I’ve made 64,000usd so far this year w0rking 0nline and I’m a full time student. I’m using an 0nline business opportunity I heard about my friend JTq and I’ve made such great m0ney. It’s really user friendly and I’m just so happy that I found out about it. Here’s what I’ve been doing…

Not sure why he ever really left Florida in the first place, glad to see him return to his old stomping grounds though.

I love that Will Muschamp is the replacement. He couldn’t coach a pee wee league team to 3rd place if he tried
