LSU Girl Takes $300 Uber To Go Less Than 2 Miles Thanks To LSU Game

Gameday traffic can be terrible for any city, but for Baton Rouge, it is a downright nightmare trying to get anywhere around Tiger Stadium. One poor LSU girl found out the hard way when she ordered an Uber at the height of LSU postgame traffic contraflow.

Damn Uber driver is just out here taking the scenic route to get her home. Had to cross the Mississippi and everything, which seems like a very roundabout way to take her to her destination, since this is the normal route one would take:

I get that LSU traffic is pretty bad, but is it so bad that the driver had to go about 10 miles out of his way just to avoid it? Feels like the better route would have been to just head down 42 to 327 before coming back up 30. I don’t know, though, because I’ve never experienced LSU gameday traffic.

Maybe this girl should have just walked that 1.6 miles. It would have saved her a ton of time and a ton of money.
