David Ortiz Hits Mammoth Home Run, Rubs It In Face Of Orioles Fan Who Previously Taunted Him
David Ortiz, aka, Big Papi, always makes for great entertainment, whether it’s on or off the field. The dude just brings it every day. It’s hard to hate him. On Tuesday, he exemplified that ability to bring his personality to the field against the Baltimore Orioles.
In the 5th inning, he was taunted by an Orioles fan while walking back to the dugout for coming up short on a home run bid. In his next at-bat, he pummeled a no-doubter to deep right center, and then let that same fan know about it.
Unfortunately for the baseball world, Big Papi is hanging up the cleats after this season. He is one of the greatest of all time. Not just at the plate, either. He’s a character — a character that baseball will severely miss..

Dude is the definition of clutch. Would be awesome to see a Cubs v Sox World Series.
