The Houston Texans Picked A Bad Time To Tweet About Free McNuggets And Are Getting Skewered

houston-texans

Last night, the Patriots whipped up on the Houston Texans to the tune of 27-0 behind the arms and legs of their third-string, rookie quarterback Jacoby Brissett. The silver lining for the Texans? They rushed for 100 yards, and you know what that means Texans fans — a free six piece McNuggets at McDonalds.

Nothing washes down shame and disappointment quite like six pieces of what could be chicken dipped in BBQ sauce and a large coke. Just a bad time to tweet it, though. The loss is still fresh. You gotta wait at least a few more hours before you can send it out. Maybe don’t even mention why you can get free McNuggets. Not to tell you how to do your job, but maybe something like “Get a free 6-pc nuggets from @McD_Houston to ease the pain,” would do the trick.

You don’t pour salt into a fresh wound and Texans fans made sure they knew it.

Why are Texans fans so upset at getting beat by a superior team? Are their expectations really that high that they think they are good? Our own W.R. Bolen even double-downed on the Texans at half, betting his house on the Texans second half line. Luckily, I got his back.

Offer still stands, Bill.

Essentially he wrote a long drawn out article saying he was betting his house on the Texans destroying the Patriots..
