A Swarthmore College Girl Pissed Off Liberals With Op-Ed, They Respond By Telling Her To Kill Herself

Erin Jenson decided to write an op-ed for her school newspaper. The main gist of the article was that schools like Swarthmore preach their socioeconomic diversity when, in reality, they do tend to favor affluent applicants more than those who need financial aid because the school knows they can pay tuition and are likely to be donors.

She is now being cyber-bullied and criticized for it, mainly for saying “hyper-liberal classmates … resent the upper class at its core” when they ought to say “thank you so, so much for being forced to pay for my opportunity.” I can see why libs would get their panties in a wad over that, despite the fact that they love sticking their hands in the wealthy’s pocket. So she’s not wrong, really. The abuse she’s taken over it? Pretty rough.

Jenson said she has received four physical threats and been cyberbullied almost 100 times on social media. She told The Fix some of the more extreme comments came from one person who told her she should have her tongue removed, and another, a written note she found in her bag at the gym the day after the op-ed came out, which stated: “kill yourself bitch.”

People even started a GoFundMe to make fun of her, asking for reparations for her family. Which really isn’t making fun of her, it’s just giving her family free money, and the joke would really be on every person who donated. The school newspaper has since apologized for posting the article, but haven’t said anything about people telling this girl to kill herself.

For being a group of people that yells at their right-leaning counterparts for being unwilling to have a conversation, they somehow can’t see that they are calling the kettle black..
