5 College Football Games To Keep An Eye On This Weekend

5-games

What a great weekend for college football we have in store. Unfortunately, watching two teams like LSU/Missouri burn isn’t one of the games you’ll want to watch. To be fair, if you go to one of those schools, you’re probably not watching your dumpster fire of a team anymore, and if you go to Mizzou you probably don’t even tell people you go to Mizzou at this point.

Let’s get into the five games.

#7 Stanford AT #10 Washington

When: Friday at 8:00 p.m. on ESPN

I love white running backs (does that make me racist?). Therefore, I love watching Christian McCaffrey play. Stanford also has Solomon Thomas, who helped everyone in the betting world who picked Stanford to cover last weekend. Friday night makes for a great opportunity for these two teams to set themselves up for a Pac-12 championship. Personally, I just can’t root for Chris Petersen after his Boise team completely fucked me against OU in the Fiesta Bowl way back when. Hey Chris, you owe me $500.

Oklahoma AT #21 TCU

When: 4:00 pm. on FOX

I am including this game because I have the chance to become boys with Baker Mayfield since he’s dating the girl who’s roommates with my girl. Outside of my personal interests in this game, it should be pretty good on the field. Really rooting for TCU to send OU into a tailspin.

#8 Wisconsin AT #4 Michigan

When: 2:30 p.m. on ABC

I’m interested in this game for two reasons: the first is because it’s a matchup of two top 10 teams facing off in the Big House. A chance for Wisconsin to make a big statement again, as well as an opportunity for Michigan to win their first big challenge of the season. Secondly, this one has big monetary implications for Jared. Siblings gave him 3.3:1 odds that Michigan wins outright, and also bet Jared Wisconsin would hit the under on 6.5 wins prior to this season. I think we all know what’s happening in this one now.

#11 Tennessee AT #25 Georgia

When: 2:30 p.m on CBS

Can we all agree on something? Tennessee’s Josh Dobbs is the ugliest motherfucker in college football. He looks like a goddamn alien. I haven’t seen a forehead that big roam the Tennessee sideline since Peyton. The only problem is that Dobbs is not as good as Peyton, nor is he as good as college Vince Young. Georgia needs a big response after last week’s blowout loss to Ole Miss, and surprisingly could take control of the SEC East with a win this weekend despite how bad they’ve looked the last three weeks.

#3 Louisville AT #5 Clemson

When: 7:00 p.m. on ABC

Yeah, this one is a no-brainer. Lamar Jackson. Night game in Death Valley Jr. A win pretty much guarantees Louisville going undefeated entering their matchup against Houston.

Bonus: MLB Playoff Races

You’ve got the Red Sox and Rangers vying for home field advantage throughout the playoffs, you got the Giants/Mets/Cardinals all trying to secure two wild card spots, and you have the Tigers/Orioles/Blue Jays all battling in the American League. Should be a fun weekend of baseball.

Bonus #2: The Ryder Cup

Fuck team Europe.

You probably won’t hate watching these games either:

#22 UT AT Oklahoma State (11:00 a.m. on ABC)
UNC AT #12 FSU (2:30 p.m. on ESPN)
#18 Utah AT Cal (5:00 p.m. on PAC 12 Network)
Memphis AT #16 Ole Miss (6:00 p.m. on ESPN2)
Arizona State AT USC (7:30 p.m. on FOX)

I’d say from a woman’s perspective being ugly is pretty damn irrelevant when you’re a genius and the quarterback who beat Florida

You guys seriously need to hire new sports writers. Between this guy writing out the TV Guide and Siblings going 0-20 on his “locks”, there doesn’t seem to be a whole lot of talent in that department.

3.3:1? Seems like Jared could have got a much better deal considering how confident siblings is. Can I place a prop bet on how many times siblings comments to anyone who will listen in real life how good of a coach harbaugh is?

Harrison how old are you? That Boise State/Oklahoma game was 9 years ago. In 2007 I was in my last year of dominating little league. You were gambling.

I turned 26 on the 9-year anniversary of that game. Still in high school, but my buddy was a gambling addict at Texas and got me in it. Haven’t stopped since.

Tough to see Wisconsin’s defense holding up with Biegal out. Give the points and take the Fighting Harbaughs.
