This HS Kick Returner Who Got Rocked By A Girl Kicker Needs To Quit Football Forever

The North Penn Knights are riding high at 7-0, ranked 4th in the state, and coming off a nice little 33-14 win over the weekend. The highlight of it all? Their kicker, Kelly Macnamara who is a female, throwing a shoulder into their opponent’s kick returner.

I’m not going to get into the whole “girls shouldn’t be allowed to play with the men” argument here. In fact, when I played, I faced two girls who tried to play wide receiver. I will say, though, that whoever that kick returner is will never recover from this. It’s one thing to get taken out by the kicker, it’s another thing to get taken out by a female kicker because the kid’s too afraid to lower his shoulder.

Kid just let her hit him. Never gave himself a chance. That’s not going to cut it on the football field. Doesn’t matter that it’s a girl, gotta treat every player on the field as a football player and do your best to embarrass them. One of the female receivers I played against? A teammate of mine took her head off coming over the middle. That’s the kind of non-sexist effort that was missing from the kick returner here..
