Top Army Assistant Fired For Spending Big Money At Strip Clubs Using Company Card
Maj. Gen. Ronald F. Lewis faced some heat last November after it was found out that he’s been a big spender at strip clubs across the globe. Lewis was Defense Secretary Ashton Carter’s former top military assistant. Key word: was. He’s been relieved of those duties. He’s still in the Army, though.
The report was released last Thursday and it detailed his insane spending at the clubs.

According to the report, during a visit to Seoul last April, Lewis charged $1,121.25 at the Candy Bar club, in an area known locally as “Hooker Hill” because of prostitution, drugs and underage drinking. The bar was off-limits to U.S. military personnel.
Lewis did try to hide that, claiming he never was there and called the bank to get the charges removed, which they did. Slick move, really. Deny deny deny until someone finally shoves some hard evidence in your face that you were, in fact, there. Unfortunately for Lewis, investigators found hard evidence.
He also had himself quite the time on a trip to Rome with Carter and other Pentagon staff.
Investigators say Lewis used a government-issued credit card at the Cica Cica Boom club, which advertises “Sexy Show,” “Fans Club” and “Lap Dance.”
Lewis told investigators that he danced and drank with local women for three hours and tried to pay the $1,755.98 bill with his personal debit card, but it wasn’t accepted.
Lewis is a married man and a father of two, so my guess is that he never intended to use his personal card to pay for it. Don’t want the wife to find out what’s really happening on those business trips. Still, $1800 for three hours? And you only claim to have been drinking? Something’s off here. My instincts are telling me that part of that bill included a trip to the VIP room and some hands-on play.
Lewis, you dog. Gotta think that using the government’s money towards strip club bills is still a better use of funds than some welfare programs, right?.
