VIDEO: Wisconsin Senator Ron Johnson Is Pretty Damn Good At Chugging Beer

Republican Senator Ron Johnson from Wisconsin is 61 years old, which means he’s in his prime with regard to four things: having crumbs around his mouth despite not eating anything in hours, being told that he needs to make sure he’s getting regular prostate exams, catching early bird specials at diners and supper clubs, and, most importantly, chugging beer.

Beer drinking skills, like Betty White and non-boxed wine and John Stamos, get better with age. Submitted, as evidence, this video of Ron John chugging a delicious pint of the good stuff.

While cool regardless, this sadly wasn’t something Johnson did because he’s a chill ass dude who likes to chug beer and videotape it; it was as political a move as kissing boobs and signing babies.

Wisconsin Sen. Ron Johnson celebrated his latest endorsement the only way he really could — chugging down a pint of Miller Lite.

His quick five-second chug, complimented by the bartender, followed his endorsement by the Tavern League of Wisconsin, a non-partisan trade association with 5,000 members.

I want to live in a world where this video doesn’t need context. Where a senator can just have a clip out there of him downing some barley soda and not have it be solely for political gain/branding purposes; where it’s just him being him. I want a world where this video is in a campaign commercial. Where this video is a campaign platform. Where chug-offs are in debates. Where Ron Johnson butt chugs and I’m holding the funnel. Where he then holds the funnel and it’s my turn. Then we high five and eat some cheese curds before watching a few episodes of Chopped while crushing Bacardi Breezers.

On second thought, maybe I just want a friend. Fuck..
