Well-Meaning Guy Tries Helping Out Girl, Proves Himself To Be Massive Dumbass

I wanted to side with this guy. I really did. After all, he meant well. He was just trying to help out a friend, possibly even a sibling or girlfriend. I looked for every possible route by which he might have somehow been right, even if just a little.

But this guy is just a huge dumbass.

Here are all the ways this guy is wrong.

1. She told him where the thing she wanted, wedge shoes, was, and he assumed she was wrong.

2. He thought she thought the lettuce would be in her room for some reason.

3. He mistook a head of lettuce for a wedge of lettuce.

4. If #3 isn’t the case, then he mistook a head of lettuce for a fully-prepared wedge salad — meaning he overlooked the glaring lack of bleu cheese, bacon lardons, grape tomatoes, and red onion.

The only possible way out for our moronic anti-hero is if he was trolling her, and, by proxy, now has just trolled all of us. Based on her caption, I feel like that’s not the case, but you never know. I don’t know which ending to this story I like more, so I prefer to just stay here in the balance where neither of us is for sure stupid, but I can still make fun of him for being stupid..
