This Dog Protecting Its Owner From A Killer Goose Is Such A Good Boy

Geese are mean little bastards, if you didn’t know. As evidenced in this video, they will run up on you if they feel threatened. Or maybe even if they don’t feel threatened. Maybe they just want to come for your neck.

Now that’s a good boy. Notice how he bites down just hard enough on the goose’s neck to pull it away from his owner, yet not hard enough to harm the goose. It’s because a good dog is loyal to its owner, yet doesn’t have a killer instinct. Because dogs are fucking great, and dogs are all heart. That’s the dog way.

Okay, now I take issue with the person filming a goose attack from first person POV. Just exploiting the dark side of nature and the unrelenting loyalty of his or her pet for a viral video. You have to remove yourself from that situation. Your dog did its job; now do yours. You asshole. You can see the dog successfully pull the goose away and then have to reengage because the moron just stands there waiting to be attacked again.

You don’t deserve that dog.
