Falcons CB Robert Alford Should Win A Daytime Emmy For His Courageous Flop Yesterday
Stunning. Brave. Awe-inspiring. Those 3 terms can only describe two people, and I’m not talking about the one who was involved in a fatal car crash in Malibu. Falcons CB Robert Alford is the object of our collective affection in this case.
I’m not sure if all of you were able to tune into the NFC Championship Game yesterday, but fear not — if instead you were at your local kill shelter watching vet school dropouts murk strays for four hours (for some reason), you got essentially the same experience. The highlight of this bloodbath was not the evisceration of arguably the league’s hottest team, but rather the dramatic performance presented to us by the aforementioned Alford. Watch below as he laid it all on the line in this exquisite drama scene of the French (read: cowardly) style.
Brava! Brava!!!
I don’t know who Alford would be up against for a Daytime Emmy for best actor considering I haven’t watched a soap opera since I was home sick from third grade with mono, but I assume he will make quick work of his General Hospital, Days of Our Lives, and As the World Turns foes..
