Here’s a video of a guy walking around New York City in a Make America Great Again hat just after the Women’s March concluded. Not a lot happens in the two plus minute video. Only two encounters with passersby are noteworthy. One guy knocks his hat off his head and the other spits at his feet and cusses at him.

It’s by a YouTube personality with a large Twitter following by the name of Joey Salads.

Maybe it’s because the internet is my job and I’ve seen too many of these so I’m skeptical of literally every video that goes viral, or because of that dickbag who recently fabricated a racist storyline and took advantage of innocent people to go viral, but I’m positive this video is fake fake fake.

Pretty convenient that the two dues who accosted Mr. Salads were wearing hoodies and facing away from the camera, making them unidentifiable. Second guy, not the best actor.

And yeah I get that tensions are crazy high right now regarding Trump and women’s rights and racism and all that stuff. Rights hate lefts. Lefts hate rights. Women hate Trump. But fabricating and pushing such sensitive storylines to gain personal exposure is just a shitty thing to do.

Of course there’s the small chance that everything in this video is authentic and I’m the cynic asshole, but I have this thing with prankster YouTube stars where I assume they’re all scumbags until proven innocent..
