This Guy Filming Himself Skiing Off A 150-Foot Cliff Reminds Me Of My Recent Trip To Vail
Backcountry skier Devin Stratton recently shred some fresh powder in the Wasatch Range in Utah, much like I did a couple weeks ago during my trip to Vail, when he unexpectedly came upon a 150-foot cliff. I didn’t have a helmet-mounted GoPro recording when I was skiing in Vail, but luckily for us, Devin did as he skied right off the cliff to the soft snow 150 feet below.
The video is intense.
Here’s a Vail t-shirt I purchased from a shop at the base of the mountain.
Thankfully, Devin didn’t have any injuries from the fall, not even suffering so much as a bruise. How lucky. I didn’t get hurt while I was skiing in Vail either, as I was able to stay up on both skis the whole time, except during a couple very minor falls. Devin did, however, lose a ski that took him and his buddy five hours to find. What a day..
You probably fell on the bunny hill.
