Tom Brady’s Instagram Continues To Be High Comedy

I guess when you’ve completed the greatest comeback in Super Bowl history, you get to breathe a sign of relief and crack a smile. I certainly haven’t stopped smiling. Although, to be completely transparent, the poop stains in my jeans may never come out. Even constantly scowling Coach Belichick, who tore it up on Fallon with Edelman on Monday, was jovial. And yesterday, GLA (greatest living American) Tom Brady set fire to the Instagram world yet again, cracking not one, but two — count ’em, TWO — top notch jokes. I’m telling you, people continue to underestimate Brady’s sense of humor. To be honest, it’s what attracts me to him the most.

First, in a series of two pictures, Brady made fun of the pick six that tore the hearts out of all of New England simultaneously. But since the Patriots won, Brady was all about making fun of himself for it.

And then, in the goofiest, most “white dad from the suburbs tries to explain rain drop drop top” way possible, we’ve got Brady’s son Benjamin dabbing so hard while riding a Duck Boat that it’s more probable than not that he’ll be on the PUP list with a shoulder injury. Proud dad Tom’s caption of “rain drop, drop top, Benny dabbin on the boat with his Papa” is so self-aware it’s insane. Like, of course Brady knows he’s supposed to make it rhyme. But does he care? For sure naht. That’s why it’s so genius. He’s playing the white dad from the ‘burbs role perfectly.
