Incoming Texas Quarterback Sam Ehlinger Already Stirring The Pot With Fellow Longhorns

Sam Ehlinger is a graduate of Westlake High School here in Austin as well as an incoming threat at the quarterback position to current Texas gunslinger, Shane Buechele. Earlier today, he tweeted about the hard work he’s super familiar with that’s necessary to play football for the Longhorns.

Former safety Dylan Haines decided to take a shot at the new guy, but Ehlinger had plenty of ammo.

Detroit Lions cornerback and former Longhorn Quandre Diggs then hit Haines with a string of tweets that put Haines in a bodybag.

Haines and Diggs tried to make it clear that they were joking, but some shots can’t be unfired.

After his original reply, Ehlinger left it up to Diggs and didn’t say anything else. Savvy move by the rook and you have to love the moxy on the new kid on the block to come out firing. You got to think it’s the Herman effect. Hopefully these types of Ws can translate to the field..
