Post Malone, Rich Chigga, And A Random Mariachi Band Is The Best Collab Of 2017

If you know me, you know that I’m further removed from the rap game than Ja Rule. I assume that joke makes sense considering Ja Rule hasn’t put anything out since 2012? I’m not sure; I’m so removed from the rap game that I had to ask my desk neighbors Dan and Dillon for a good rapper to use as the punchline for that joke. I feel like it was a pretty solid recommendation from Dillon considering I don’t think Ja Rule will have much time to focus on rap while he’s dick-deep in lawsuits for the foreseeable future.

But I don’t need to have deep roots in any particular musical genre to know that this spur-of-the-moment collab between Post Malone, Rich Chigga, and a mariachi band GOES.

I’ve been saying it for years: Mariachi and Polka are the two best styles of music, and the fact that they’re underrepresented in pop culture is a crime. If you want to see either of them live right now, your best chances are Thursday night at the local fajita joint and Friday night at the local biergarten respectively. That’s gotta change. It’s time for Mariachi and Polka headliners at Coachella, Lolla, and ACL. Get on that, C3. And schedule Post and Rich Chigga too so we can get this collab live..
