I Can’t Get Enough Of This 70-Pound Toddler

The good news: There’s an 18-month-old toddler in Turkey who weighs as much as a 12-year-old and he’s the cutest little fucker I’ve ever seen in my life.

Look at this kid. Look at him! The fat rolls. The massive thighs. The adult-sized diapers. The cheeks that swallow his face whole. He’s too much for me to handle right now. I just want to put on one of those back braces that powerlifters wear and carry him around on my hip all day.

The bad news: He has a life-threatening condition that causes him to gain weight rapidly.

From Daily Mail:

The desperate parents of an 18-month-old toddler who tips the scales at an astonishing five stone and piles on 4lbs every month are begging for help to pay for his life-saving treatment.

Yagiz Bekte, from Samsun, Turkey, is so large he can barely fit into his buggy and even finding nappies that fit him is a struggle.

Treatment is only available privately and costs £3,196 ($4,138) for just a three-day supply. It will cost the family £30,000-a-month ($38,849).

Yagiz’s father Sedat, 32, a car mechanic, said: ‘If Yagiz doesn’t use this medicine he will continue gaining weight, he will not be able to walk, run or even breathe.’

Yagiz was born with a leptin deficiency – the hormone that regulates weight and metabolism.

Sad story, I know. I speak for everyone when I say I’m Team Yagiz on this one.

I need this kid to pull through and maintain a weight low enough to keep him alive but fat enough to keep him fat and fun as fuck.

Is the reason you like this kid because he can’t run away like the other kids do when you pull up to a preschool?

But the shallow grave that he digs afterwards must be larger than usual.

I agree completely. Once you have a kid – it becomes physically impossible not to feel terribly for the father that can’t afford to save his kid’s life.
