For reasons unknown, John Kasich went on The View and interviewed rapper 2 Chainz (known as Tity Boi to his friends). The encounter features as much “Little Wayne”-ing as you’d expect.

Yes, keep telling us about how you and your daughters frequently bump Yeezy, John. As a millennial, I’m feeling more and more connected to you by the second. Your hipness sustains me. If I find out you don’t add guac to your Chipotle burrito or have awkward conversations with your Uber drivers, I’m going to blow a gasket.

My favorite part of this confusing ordeal is how Kasich, a guest on The View, is doing the hosts’ job for them by interviewing Mr. Boi. That’s a pretty interesting model for daytime talk shows to adapt: have your guests interview each other so you can just sit back and do nothing at work then get home at 2 p.m. and do whatever it is Whoopi Goldberg does the rest of the day. I need to get in on that lifestyle..
