Uh, What?

I just casually flipped over to my former employer to catch the end of the NCAA Division I Men’s Golf Championship and now my mind is in a pretzel.

Do you tee it up with a 56 or play it safe with a 60 degree to get over those shrubs? I’m personally killing an entire nest of baby birds if I pull out driver here. You get what, two club lengths back? Yup…I’m still murking those innocent newborn American Robins tucked away in the bushes and making them explode (ala Randy Johnson) with a Callaway chrome soft. Wouldn’t even feel like finishing my round after that. I mean who could with the blood of cute little song birds on your hands? Seems a bit dark, NCAA. Hopefully they can lighten things up with a windmill or pirate ship on the 18th green.

He doesn’t have much to work with. Once he’s called everyone in the universe a pussy, he’s pretty much out of material.

He is implying that you are under 21, possibly still in high school. Are you too stupid to realize that?

This was a great comment, but apparently there aren’t many golfers on this site anymore.

Ok, so how do you play this? 6 iron of the tee just so you can get a lot more height?

You can get a driver on that. Even a low ballflight should clear the hedge. Looks like a fun hole.

LazyRican if you’re afraid of driver then I would say like a 3 or 4 hybrid is the responsible play. You’d advance the ball 215 – 250 and the club has enough loft to ensure you clear the obstacle.

Rule number one of the driver, Danno, is “hit up on it.” Tee it high and let it fly, and with that philosophy you should clear those shrubs by a solid 4 – 10 feet.
