The Evergreen State College Protest Situation Is Way, Way More Insane Than You Think

If you aren’t familiar with the ongoing crisis at The Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington, get caught up by reading “School Protestors Enraged Because White People Won’t Voluntarily Leave Campus” and then “UPDATE: Evergreen State College Protesters Are Now Exempt From Doing Homework.”
Those two articles paint a picture of a school in the midst of a misguided student-led protest with 100% emotional and 0% intellectual backing… which is nothing out of the ordinary these days. It’s the new norm, like all network sitcoms being absolute trash and every trey Kevin Love jacks up being a large enough brick to where entire cities could be built if just one of said bricks were to be broken down into smaller bricks and used to erect edifices.
But as Bret Weinstein, the long-time Evergreen State professor at the center of the controversy, points out, this situation is far from normal. It’s a terrifying case study on what happens when a public entity succumbs to a semi-militant protest group.
Yes, the interview — like all episodes of the Joe Rogan Experience — is long as shit. But it’s completely worth it. Binge it, listen to it in a bunch of 15-minute chunks until you finish it, whatever. Just make sure to listen to the whole thing so you can understand the negative effects of letting radical PC culture run rampant..

How about a summary of the points in the video, Jared, rather than just pointing out that it’s long as shit?
8 years ago at 2:58 pmThat requires journalistic research. Way too much effort for this employee-base.

8 years ago at 3:14 pmYou guys haven’t had a problem stealing content before, what changed?
8 years ago at 3:23 pmYou’re right, I didn’t listen to it. I did read the column, though, which is more than I usually do. And I visited the Man Outfitters site to see what you have in the clearance rack. Happy?
8 years ago at 3:29 pmSix months ago, after getting fired from my job , i’ve been blessed to find out about this amazing site online that was a lifesaver… They offer online home-based work. My last month check after working with them for three months was 12000 dollars… Amazing thing about it was that only thing required is basic typing and internet access..

8 years ago at 3:18 pmWhy don’t you go colonize a busy stretch of highway. Preferably when a semi is coming your way.
8 years ago at 3:25 pmI just finished listening to this in its entirely. The “movement” if it can since called is basically attempting to harm people in an effort to correct past (and often imagined) wrongs and people are just letting it happen.
8 years ago at 3:41 pmEdit: harm white people.
8 years ago at 3:41 pmThat’s possible because privilege, therefore it’s equality, right?
8 years ago at 7:58 pmAnd they say minorities can’t be racists….SMH
8 years ago at 12:15 amI live in Washington and not a lot of people don’t know about this thing going on.. And the phew that do are embarrassed that these absolute retards are making headlines.
