Will Grier Ruled Eligible For 2017 College Football Season, Hammer WVU Over 7 Wins

After getting popped with the over the counter selective androgen receptor modulator Ligandrol in the midst of an undefeated run with Florida back in 2015, Will Grier has been in eligibility limbo with both the transfer rules and PED suspension looming over his head as he made his way to Morgantown to suit up for Dana Holgorsen and the West Virginia Mountaineers. Though he was forced to sit out the remainder of his promising redshirt freshman year with the Gators, it was still unclear whether or not he’d be cleared to play before game 7 of the 2017 season. This morning, Holgorsen and company got the big news that they’ll have their guy Week 1 against Virginia Tech.

As I type these words, West Virginia’s over/under win total for the 2017 season is set at 7 on Bovada. This is not going to be the case in a few days or even hours from now. So scrape together every penny you have to your name — whether it’s financial aid money, a six-figure trust fund, or the collection of $5 checks you’ve received for your birthday over the years but never cashed from your dear old Nana — and hammer the OVER. You will not find a bigger lock this century. With Grier at helm, it’s a very good possibility WVU will be 7-0 as Okie State makes their way to Milan Puskar Stadium. This is just foolish on Vegas’ end. Downright irresponsible. And with Dana most likely letting Grier sling it 60 times a game, get in early with me on those 50/1 or higher Heisman odds. So long as Willie can avoid crossing paths with a Total Nutrition and the urge to put bodybuilding over football, we might just bankrupt Sin City. This year, we’re all Mountaineers..
