After the death of 18-year-old LSU student Maxwell Gruver, 10 arrest warrants were issued by the police at Louisiana State University for 10 Phi Delta Theta members.

From CNN:

The ten members for whom police issued warrants are charged with hazing. One faces an additional charge of negligent homicide.

The fraternity is currently under investigation by the university and by their national office. Bob Biggs, the Executive Vice President and CEO of Phi Delta Theta General Headquarters, was quoted last month saying, “We’re committed to investigating this situation thoroughly. The chapter and any individuals who are found to have violated our policies will be held accountable.”

The East Baton Rouge Parish Coroner’s Office determined that Gruver’s death was accidental and said it was caused by “acute alcohol intoxication with aspiration.” The death is being investigated as potential hazing.

LSU and the Phi Delta Theta nationals are handling this as best they can, and hopefully more will reveal itself as the investigation progresses.

I’d have multiple public masturbation arrests if I went to Arizona State. I’d devote an hour of my day to give my grandma a detailed explanation of what babe of the day’s booty taste like

You and Baybro could have picked a different post on which to comment about the BOTD. Have some respect, man.

Sarah from ASU has an ass made for doggy style. I’d lick the sand off her ass. 8/10

This will be an unpopular opinion, but if fraternities can’t haze without killing the pledges, maybe we should stop hazing. Or at least tone down the alcohol.

Any Fraternity that is still liquor hazing at this point is stupid. There’s much better and more fun stuff you can do to fuck around with pledges that doesn’t have the potential to kill them

Agreed. Two of the main purposes of hazing are to bond the pledge class and to weed out the guys who really aren’t serious about joining. Getting blackout drunk doesn’t accomplish either one.

We all need to go zero tolerance for pledge educators drinking when pledges are around in any capacity, or at very least designate one educator to stay sober 24/7 who has the balls to stop anything that’s going over the line. Things were a lot different even a few years ago when I was a pledge, but we’re learning that we literally have these kid’s lives in our hands. Just winging it and seeing how far we can take things is no longer acceptable.

From the rumors that have been spread around: the individuals who did this knew the kid in highschool and bullied him frequently, they pledged him with the sole intention of fucking with him. The individuals forced the young man to chug a bottle of 190 proof diesel (couldn’t even chip in enough for everclear) and forced him to consume the entire bottle. They threw him in a bed and left him for dead, the shit stains fought everyone who tried to get this guy help. Then when they finally brought him to the hospital he was dead. Fuck these guys

Those sick fucks better go away for murder. And fuck the people who tried to help him but backed down when they were told to if that’s really the case. If a pledge evidently needs medical help and an active tries to stop people from helping at least one person there should have the balls to physically remove the guy, or call the cops, or do anything but take orders like a coward. A kid’s life should come before a brother’s dignity.
