Texas Walk-Ons Make Nickleback Spoof To Officially Kill What’s Left Of Longhorns Football

As a Mizzou guy, I’m jazzed up for the Texas Bowl and ramping up my hate for those scrubs in burnt orange and white. There’s this arrogance about Longhorn players, fans, officials, groundskeepers, parking lot attendants, and every Austin resident that is just not warranted by their performance on the field these past few seasons. So yeah, I’ll gladly admit that I take great pleasure in the downfall of this traditional blue blood program. They’ve been on life support for quite some time, and I believe the graduating walk-ons may have just pulled the plug on any hope of rekindling their former glory.

Cancel the bowl game. Cancel the 2018 season. Cancel the program.

It wouldn’t be so bad if this was an idea that was produced on a whim. But, considering the production quality, this took several days from idea to completion. That means someone, likely more than one person, decide this was a good idea for more than five minutes.

I don’t care how sarcastic or funny they were aiming for this to be. I want to fly them all to a remote island and leave them there to think about what they’ve done.

Clearly, anyone with any sense would have to agree.
