Does Donald J. Trump Know The National Anthem? It Hard To Say

Prior to my legendary career as a comedian, I earned my living as a singer. Ever since I first drunkenly grabbed the karaoke mic, I knew I had a special gift. Until my career was derailed in a conflict with my manager about how he handed his underground cocaine ring, that is. Regardless, I know a thing or two about musical talent.

Just like the rest of you, I tuned into the College Football Playoff National Championship for one reason and one reason only: to focus on who would be singing the national anthem. My early guess was David Hasselhoff, but it ended up being the musical stylings of Zac Brown Band. Not a bad choice, but the Hoff would have been better.

Zac Brown Band weren’t the only ones getting into the rhythm and groove of the Star-Spangled Banner. Donald Trump was there, and made sure the television cameras were on him for his little sing-along moment.

Based on his stops and starts, though, not everyone is convinced that the Donald knew what he was singing.

I can hardcore relate with that tweet. I don’t think I was ever once prepared for class in four years of undergrad, which is why I just elected to not go as a means of saving myself the potential embarrassment.

Look, I ain’t here to criticize Mr. You’re Fired’s singing ability; I leave music critiques to the American Idol judges and bad football-related lip reading to that one YouTube channel. What I will say is that The Mooch would have nailed it. Dude just looks like he has the voice of an angel..
