John Daly Slinging Merch Outside Of An Augusta Hooters Is A Masters Tradition Unlike Any Other
The Masters is in full swing, and everyone’s jizzing themselves over Tiger’s return. That’s all well and good, but I’ll leave the in-depth golf analysis to the golf experts. What we’re all here for (and I say that in my unofficial capacity to speak for everyone) is John Daly.
Tiger may be the reemerging face of golf, but John Daly is the spirit and has been for some time. The dude is a legend. He said it himself: “You can’t drink like me, you can’t smoke like me & I guarantee you, your dick’s not as big as mine.”
And as legends do, John marches to the beat of his own drum. He does his own thing. Because while everyone is out there golfing and whatnot, John is slinging merch outside the parking lot of an Augusta Hooters, just like he’s done for years. How’s that for a tradition unlike any other?
From The Score:
Each year during Masters week, you’ll find John Daly hawking his wares in a Hooters parking lot near Augusta National.
The 51-year-old is camped out in his usual spot ahead of the 82nd edition of the tournament, and has been busy signing autographs and posing for photos while rocking gear emblazoned with the logos of some of his favorite sports teams.
Forget witnessing Tiger’s “comeback.” How much sweeter would it be to get a picture with and some signed swag from Wild Thing himself? I could go on and on about how’d I’d give my right toe to rip cigs and crush beers with the guy, but I’ll just leave you with this clip of John is all his glory..
