Green Bay Packers Return Man Jokingly Makes Bomb Threat At Airport Because That’s A Good Idea

It’s a phrase you’ll hear spouted from the rooftops by some soccer mom with a bob haircut to be reckoned with: “Professional athletes are supposed to be role models…role models…role modelllssss. And it’s something that I for one agree with. You’re getting paid millions of dollars to throw a ball, clown. The least you can do is treat women respectfully and follow the law. Little Johnny is counting on you.

Unfortunately, it seems that athletes are constantly dropping the ball by womanizing, getting into domestic abuse situations, and just being all around dirtbags. They don’t seem to understand how in wake of little Johnny’s parents’ divorce, they alone are basically the last line of defense in shaping him to become a decent person.

An example of someone with this shockingly low level of awareness is Green Packers return specialist Trevor Davis, who, in a bonehead maneuver, made one of the biggest mistakes a human can make. Homeboy made a bomb joke in the airport.

From ESPN:

Green Bay Packers wide receiver Trevor Davis was arrested Sunday and charged with making “criminal threats” after joking about a bomb at the Los Angeles International Airport, according to LAX police.

Public information officer Rob Pedregon told ESPN on Monday that Davis was taken into custody and released pending a May 3 court appearance.

“Yesterday, Trevor Davis checked in at the Hawaiian Airlines ticket counter and was asked the usual questions about whether he was carrying any aerosol cans, knives, weapons or explosives,” Pedregon said. “Davis turned to his female companion and asked if she remembered to pack the explosives. He was then taken into custody and booked.”

DO NOT yell fire in a crowded movie theater, DO NOT cry wolf at any time, and NEVER EVER EVER make a bomb threat in an airport because spoiler alert: they’re kind of sensitive about that shit. Pretty sure that’s in the Bill of Rights somewhere. Airport employees, TSA or otherwise, are always looking for a reason to jump into action. They’re like the Paul Blarts of the sky. So don’t give them one, because they will go way overboard with it.

We don’t know if the attendant at the ticket counter was being an asshole or not, chances are they were. But at the end of the day, you’ve got to have some feel for your surroundings. Trevor, my man, just be a compliant passenger of the sky. If not for yourself, then do it for the kids. Be a role model.

Pretty good actually. Lost my v card halfway through my freshman year and fucked a decent amount of other girls after. Granted I was captain of the basketball team, competing in nationally recognized mma fights (Actually spent two weeks training with the Diaz brothers one summer), and of course, had a shit ton of money.

Honestly, outside of a select few careers, ivy league would be nothing but paying out the as for the bragging rights (that no one else would care about). Saves a lot of trouble and money not to go there. Logical AND practical.
