UALR’s PIKE And Chi Omega Sing Along To “Freaky Friday,” Trigger Campus-Wide Meltdown

Last month we brought you a video from inside the Virginia Tech women’s lacrosse team’s bus, showing them singing along to Lil Dicky’s “Freaky Friday,” which prominently features Chris Brown saying the n-word. Campus, of course, was outraged online. Now, the same song has UA Little Rock’s PIKE and Chi Omega in trouble.

When a bunch of privileged white kids sing along to a song where both artists jokingly tease about racial stereotypes, there was little to no outrage as people understood it was just a song and no ill-willed intentions were meant by the singing of it.

Just kidding there was a fucking meltdown.

UALR has responded appropriately by restricting the activities of both PIKE and Chi Omega and, according to Fox 16, “adding an entirely new office titled The Office of Multicultural Student Support Services.”

Now Lil Dicky is costing the Arkansas taxpayers money. We’ve now got to open a brand new student support service thanks to “Freaky Friday.” Honestly, we could’ve stopped this earlier by protesting then 15-year-old Lindsay Lohan’s “Freaky Friday” movie. It’s time we get to the root of the problem.

You guys enjoy the ride over there at UALR. I’ll be on the beach singing along to Ludwig van Beethoven’s Symphony No. 5 in C Minor if anyone needs me. No potentially offensive lyrics there.

    When are the dumb fucks of the world going to figure it out: you CANNOT say the N-Word. Not in a song, not as a joke, not quoting someone else who said it, not in a text, no time, nowhere. Though it doesn’t surprise me that Pikes would be this stupid (it’s actually the expectation) and it goes without saying that any sorority dumb enough to hang around with Pike would be dumb enough to say it. We should just have a nationwide test and get it over with: everyone who thinks there is some loophole that makes it OK to say this, raise your hand. OK, all of you people who raised your hands, just kill yourselves now because you’re too dumb to live.

        I was talking to a mixed friend of mine and she is half Asian, she says there is some recessive gene/disease that only comes out when Asians mix but doesn’t when they stay with other Asians. Some kind of anemia I think.
