Shaquille O’Neal Catfishes Charles Barkley In An Off-The-Rails “Inside The NBA” Segment

Inside The NBA on TNT has always made for entertaining television, mainly because of the friendly on-camera rivalry between Shaquille O’Neal and Charles Barkley. While the back-and-forth between Shaq and Sir Charles is usually kept to verbal digs and fairly tame tweet beefs, Monday night’s show went the route of full-blown slapstick comedy when Shaq got his hands on a catfish and chased Barkley around the studio with it, at one point just chucking it right at the Chuckster. Let’s just say that Charles hasn’t moved that fast since his playing days.

I don’t know what’s better about these on-set shenanigans: a scared Charles Barkley running for his life or a giddy Shaq pouring beer down the catfish and yelling “Drink it! Drink it!” at Nashville Predators fans who wanted nothing to do with the makeshift catfish beer luge.

You can’t blame him for assuming they’d be down with it though, since the whole segment was loosely based on the Taylor Lewan-led Tennessee Titans offensive line celebrating the Predators win over the Winnipeg Jets last Sunday night.

I don’t know who was more put off by a beer-soaked catfish: the Preds fans in the TNT studio or Marcus Mariota. .
