The dictionary defines the word "geed" as "a command to a horse or other draft animal directing it to go faster." Makes sense why my dad employs so many. TFM.

    ‘Geed’ actually is commanding the animal to turn to the right. ‘Gee up’ means to go faster. I like the enthusiasm though.
