Hiring a 300 dollar-an-hour lawyer to fight a 100 dollar seat belt citation out of principle. TFM.

Fuck anyone who disagrees with this. The principle is always worth it; better to pay an attorney than the state. It helps my father pay my tuition too.

I thought you were a CEO? Shouldn’t you be out of college or at least be able to pay your own tuition.

CEOs are like legacies. Might as well take the title now since my name’s on the building

CEOs, and legacies, who get there just because their name is on the building are always the biggest failures.

Yeah, getting your name on the building is considered a failure. Good luck with your version of success

CEO, you should probably work on your reading comprehension before you run your father’s business into the ground.

So true, seems like a waste at first but much better to pay an attorney than the state.

Who cares if he bills $300 an hour when I bet he spent a grand total of four minutes on your case. That’ll be pro-rated to the tenth of an hour… So how frat do you feel spending thirty dollars yet calling it three hundred?

Unless he got it dropped with a phone call or he just happened to be in the same court at the same time you had to appear for the seat belt ticket (very unlikely), chances are he spent a lot more than 4 minutes on your stupid ticket.

Come on, dumbass. Haven’t you ever hired a lawyer? Once a lawyer has taken your case, your court date disappears and it moves to your attorney’s docket. And yes, he probably did spend a grand total of 5 minutes on the case.

Not having to pay for a lawyer because you know all of the defense attorneys as well as the district attorneys and some judges in your county. TFM
