While on my way to vacation in Seaside, FL I was pulled over for going 85 in a 50 and open container. Turns out that's only a warning when the D.A. is riding shotgun. TFM.

That’s pretty badass if true. I don’t condone drinking and driving at all though.

Bullshit. This never would happen. Maybe if the best defense attorney in the FL was sitting shotgun, it would be a little more believable. You are probably a high school kid who made an account. Fucking geed.

Considering the majority of the drive to seaside he would still be in alabama, this is quite plausible.

If Ronbro Reagan doesnt know what DA stands for, he must be some high school kid who made an account. Fucking geed.

I was in the backseat. It happened, we were in Geneva County, Alabama and his Dad pulled out his credentials. “Have a nice day, sir” was all the cop said. TFM

Considering District Attorneys only deal with felony cases and this is a misdemeanor, i highly doubt the officer is scared of the DA. It’s not like the DA even has credentials, he is a fucking attorney who prosecutes criminal felony cases. He doesn’t have a badge. This stroy is bull shit. In theory, the District Attorney technically works for the officer since it’s his job to prosecute the charges that the state has indicted and the officer initiated. I bet you’re leaving out a large part of this story…. the officer and DA are friends, or golfing buddies, or something like that.

I have never even seen a cop on that stretch of highway…ever, and I drive it quite often. But, cool story bro.
