Wearing khaki pants and a button down to the internship on casual friday. TFM.

I don’t know why this is a TFM, you’re dressed in appropriate business casual. Business professional would be a suit, unless you work in a GDI place where a button-down is “dressy”

suits arent always de rigour anymore in the office. i wore khakis, an oxford and a blazer with tie. if no coat at all and a tie isnt what most people wear, GDI.

Exactly. My dad works in biglaw and he goes in to work in khakis and an oxford most days, especially in the summer.

You’re right, If you wore khakis, an oxford, and a blazer with a tie, then wouldn’t wearing a button down and khakis be considered causal? That makes this normal, not a TFM…

What else would you wear on a casual Friday? This would be better if you showed up in khaki shorts, sperry’s and a polo.

for the dipshit who thinks a college student has to wear a suit everyday to a summer internship, you’re wrong. sorry to break it to you but a blazer w/button down and tie/khakis is fine for a summer intern in college.

Who the fuck wears a blazer for official 9-5 business? Blazers are for non-business. It’s to be used like a less formal tuxedo.
