In all honesty buy yourself a Rainshadow rod, Ardent reel, with some McCoy fishing line… lesser known, better quality, and ALL made 100% in the USA. That Shimano shit you’ve got is Jap crap.

It’s too bad that set up is a buck 40. I guess I could remember to take it out of my big ass southern as fuck fireworks next time so some Yankee queer won’t bitch. Last time I checked Shimano makes one of the best spinning reels for tuna, but I’m a Penn man myself.
