Former President of Harvard Calls Winklevoss Twins ‘Assholes’

If you’ve seen “The Social Network” then you’ve seen a fairly accurate portrayal of Larry Summers, former President of Harvard, in the scene where the Winklevoss twins meet with him in an attempt to have Zuckerberg disciplined for stealing their idea. In the film Mr. Summers does not take kindly to the twins, making smartass remarks about their attire (“…from the looks of it they want to sell me a Brooks Brothers franchise”), and it turns out he may have a problem with well dressed people, in general.

At Fortune’s Brainstorm Tech conference Mr. Summers opened up about the accuracy of the movie scene.

“One of the things you learn as a college president is that if an undergraduate is wearing a tie and jacket on Thursday afternoon at three o’clock, there are two possibilities. One is that they’re looking for a job and have an interview; the other is that they are an asshole. This was the latter case.”

In honor of this remark I’ll be rocking a Brooks Brothers suit tomorrow (Thursday) at 3:00, acting like an asshole. I invite you all to join me.

      I think the keyword in his statement is “Undergraduate.” Someone clearly less significant than a professor or grad student at Harvard. I imagine getting a meeting with the Harvard president is nearly impossible, and wasting his time with the problem they had when they LOOKED like they dont have any room to complain. Just trying to justify the reality of it.

Last time I checked people in fraternities pride themselves in looking like gentleman not slobs like Marc Zuckerberg. Also if we lived in the previous generation a suit and tie was a mandatory form of dress. The hippies ruined that one. So please retract your arrogance and stop sticking up for the treasury secretary that was responsible for the Stimulus Package.

Just because the WV twins show up looking good, it doesnt justify there reasons for that meeting. They were expected to be Harvard men, of greater honor(or whatever) and they were acting like little bitches. I still respect there ability to Frat dont get me wrong. But Summers made a bold statement and there was nothing wrong with it. So chill out. I pay m taxes, I can say whatever the fuck I want.

      Actually what Zuck did was illegal. However, the Voss twins had the idea didn’t have the skills to execute it so they hired someone to do it for them. FAF. They may have gotten screwed out of the whole company but they “gutted the frickin nerd” for $65,000,000 while pretty much doing no work except having a good idea and sending out family lawyers. Which is also FAF. They aren’t dumb asses that’s for sure.

      New Canaan, Greenwich, Darien, Weston, Westport, and Fairfield are some of the richest towns in Connecticut. Last time I checked Greenwich is a part of Fairfield County. Saying he isn’t a Fairfield County product is like saying he’s a New York product; it’s completely wrong.
