Frattierthanthou is right. Supposedly Clemson and FSU are in the running too. It would be a sad day for the SEC if FSU is added though. FSU might as well be a Pac10 team.
are you kidding me a pac 10 team? We beat the only two SEC teams we played last year and they weren’t really close games. And You guys have ole miss, vandy, kentucky, and tennessee all of whom we would’ve killed.. Oh and Ga but to be fair to them they are usually good
I think the dyke of a sorostitue (southernby gods grace). who probably goes to Virginia Tech is referencing FSU’s surfer/guido image, and how it would fit in the Pac 12. Granted FSU isn’t as frat as Ole Miss, UGA, Auburn etc..The SEC would be stupid to not take them. University of Florida is one of the most anti-frat schools ever, and they fit in fine, and the basketball school of Kentucky can fit in, Im sure there’s a place for another football powerhouse, regardless of how “frat” it is.
thank you damn right… also I didn’t mention how we would add in to the other sports of the sec…like basketball and baseball. (not that those matter as much but still a contribution)
SEC releasing statement to cover their ass in case of tortious interference lawsuit with Big 12. Ags officially withdraw from Big 12 Monday. SEC extends bid to Ags on Wednesday. Legal maneuvering. TFM
SEC cannot make the offer while A&M is still in the Big 12. The statement you saw on the. Championship is true, SEC is not offering at this time. After A&M leaves the Big 12 they will approach the SEC and the SEC will vote on whether to add A&M (the informal vote today was 11-0 in favor of adding them). Expect an announcement within 21 days.
Love this, bunch of misinformed morons posting on this.
From the president of South Carolina:
“Pastides, speaking after USC’s New Student Convocation at the Coliseum, said the league presidents “love” the current conference landscape, but that it was necessary to drop what they were doing and hold such a meeting in order to best plan for the league’s best interest in the future.
Regarding rumors of Texas A&M’s desire to leave the Big 12 Conference and join the SEC, Pastides said the proverbial “ball” is in the school’s “court.”
Done deal. See you guys next week and thanks for the invite.
More like they’re going to wait until they agree on who the 14th team is going to be.
