Stocking up for weekend one. TFM.

  1. Southern boy

Look at me. I just went to the liquor store and bought a bunch of bourbon I’ve heard is good so I could take a sweet pic of it and submit it to TFM.

Grow up, find the favorite bourbon/whiskey you actually like, and stop trying to be cool.

Its not bad but would still rather have Makers Mark or Jack’s green label is pretty solid

Weekend one? As in you’re trying to rage? 5 bottles? Really?

How about a case of Kentucky Gentleman and maybe one nice bottle that you might be able to finish. Fucking Busch league amateur.

fine with me if you do happen to like everything. i think its a shame that you cannot distinguish one type of bourbon from another enough to pick a favorite.

And I’m not a big fan of Makers 46: too sweet for me. Buffalo Trace is great for the price, cant beat it.

“Except crown royal isn’t bourbon”….neither is Gent Jack

Crown Black actually is pretty good though much better than reg, much deeper notes great with ginger. Knob Creek and Woodford are still my 2 favorites though, on the rocks or neat depending on how I’m feeling.

If you want to get technical, Jack Daniels isn’t bourbon. It’s Tennessee Whiskey. I don’t know why anyone would buy Gentleman Jack when you can get Woodford for the same price.

Buffalo Trace is the best bourbon you can get for its price, plus the distillery is awesome and gives the best tours on the entire bourbon trail. Their pappy van winkle (I think the 10 year) is also amazing for the price

Who the hell cares that you can buy liquor and take a photo? Go back to your circle jerk.

  4. This website is great marketing for bourbon (with the exception of Crown) that most people have never heard of and buy while trying too hard…

Everyone on here bitching that there’s no Maker’s is a geed. Get some class and drink a real bourbon.

that’s funny – 6 months ago everyone was in love with Makers and it was the epitome of a TFM. Now you’re trying to pass off whiskey as some sort of sorostitute fashion, which changes every other month.
I drank Makers 46 when it came out and fell in love and i’ll buy that shit until the day I die.
Drinking whiskey you love in mass quantities is far frattier than drinking whatever bourbon is “cool” at the time.

Except I’ve never cared for the mediocrity that is Maker’s and have always enjoyed better things.

Watch out, CandC can use big words.

Drink what you like and stick with it. Unless you are CandC… then go around and proclaim to everyone that you MUST have the finest things in life.

      Take a lap.

    Whiskey’s:
If I want Bourbon: Woodford Reserve
If I want Scotch: There are quite a few good brands. Depends on the occasion really, as all brands have different levels of ageness and quality. Johnny Walker, Glenlivet, Dewers, etc.. Also, there are a lot of smaller batch lesser known brands of scotch that are great.
If I want Irish: Jameson or Bushmills
If I want Canadian: Crown Royal Special Reserve
If I want Japanese (while I would never buy it for myself, I tried it, and it was surprisingly excellent): Yamazaki (I think I tried a premium version of Yamazaki though)
