IE there probably were some single men with no family that gave their all to the poor and followed him, but in today’s world there are few people who have no family whatsoever that would be damaged by them just abandoning it all. And for that wealth to be given, it must first be created. If everyone spent their time trying to give away everything they had instead of creating resources like we should do it we take that literally, we would run out of things to give.
