Well, in a time of desperation and pre-knowledge of no one wanting to rush this embarrassing organization (with a dorm building that mirrors a house) they won’t have pledges to cut the grass hence why they got astroturf.
I have never been to their campus, but I am assuming they used astroturf due to the high traffic the courtyard receives. Hence making it quite challenging to keep grass looking healthy.
