Not every fraternity man that comes from money comes from family money. I like this post b/c its definitely true. My dad is the only one from his family to go to college and he became a neurologist. Now he takes care of his whole family who isn’t as fortunate. Helping the family once you’ve made it. TFM

It’s been my experience that new money usually equates to a bottom tier fraternity and a Japanese luxury vehicle, which is obviously NF. Nevertheless, be grateful that you’re not a GDI, and frat on with your bottom tier friends. After all, your kids will be legacies. If you haven’t already, please read what is quite possibly the greatest and most accurate article concerning these principles in this article: http://cw.ua.edu/2011/02/27/the-great-divide-old-money-vs-new-money/

You do understand that that article was supposed to be satire, right? The author was pointing out how idiotic it is to debate such irrelevant things. If you really care that much about how much money someone has, or whether it is new or old then you have serious issues.
